Questions
About the till.
Does the till work with my hardware?
Yes: any USB barcode scanner, 80 mm or 58 mm thermal receipt printers, a cash drawer connected to the printer, and weighing scales that print barcode labels. A second screen can show the bill to the customer.
Can I stop cashiers from giving discounts or cancelling sales?
Yes. Discounts, price changes, returns and voids each need a permission. Give them only to supervisors or managers.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
Items with no stock are hidden at the till, and a scanned one is refused with a clear message, so you never sell what you don't have.
Can I run several counters?
Yes. Each counter has its own cash, shifts and reports, and you see them all together.
