Who can ask
- A business using Centrixa can ask us to close its account and delete all its data. The request must come from the account owner.
- Anyone who has contacted us (through the website, WhatsApp, phone or email) can ask us to delete the information we hold about them, including our WhatsApp conversation.
- A customer of a business that uses Centrixa should ask that business, because the business controls its own records. If they don't respond, tell us and we will pass your request on and help them deal with it.
How to ask
Use any of these:
- Email hello@getcentrixa.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
- Send us a WhatsApp message on +92 300 1189247 starting with "Data deletion request".
- Use our contact form and choose "Data deletion request".
Please include your name, the phone number or email address you used with us, your business name if you have a Centrixa account, and what you would like deleted.
What happens next
- We confirm we have your request within 3 working days.
- We check that the request comes from you (for a business account, from the account owner), for example by calling the registered number.
- For a business account, we offer you an export of your data first, so nothing is lost by mistake.
- We delete the information within 30 days and confirm to you in writing. Copies in our backups are removed as the backups are replaced, within 90 days.
What we may need to keep
- Invoices and payment records for what you paid us, for as long as tax law requires.
- A short record that you asked for deletion and when we completed it, so we can show we did it.
- Information we must keep because of a legal claim or a request from the authorities.
WhatsApp conversations
When you ask us to delete your information, we delete our WhatsApp conversation with you and your number from our contacts. WhatsApp, a service of Meta, may keep its own copies under its privacy policy; you can delete your copy of the chat in your WhatsApp app.
